Sneak peek: Rachel & Cesar's wedding invitations

I wrapped up a lovely set of summer wedding invitations for a sweet couple in New Jersey last week. They are underway to the wedding guests now, and I look forward to sharing more about this project a little later on. The invitation suite came together nicely, and I can't wait to post more images! Here are a few shots from my studio during final assembly.

Inspiration wall

Whenever I work on a wedding, I begin by gathering images, paper samples, ribbon, embellishments and other pretty things in the couple's wedding colors. I tack everything to a large piece of foamcore board next to my desk, and this becomes my playground for a while. Right now, I live in a pretty world of plums and pinks.

Thank You cards

I finished an order of Thank You cards last week to match a set of wedding stationery I created for (now newlyweds!) Shefali and Samir in July. The folded cards are blank inside so bride and groom can add a personal note. The design picked up elements from the other stationery items I created for them, like the drawing of the mandap, the traditional canopy under which the Hindu wedding ceremony is held.
